Three university courses have been developed that make use of the InPro course modules A, B and D.
BIM Technologies and Model-based Working is integrated in Virtual Design (7,5 ECTS points) and Virtual construction (7,5 ECTS points). A BIM of a residential house is developed in three stages: early design, envelope design and detailed design. in the course Virtual Design where complete models and descriptions should be produced using model-based working methods. Clash detection is part of the Virtual design course. In the next course Virtual construction the BIM model is adapted to production extracting quantities, making cost estimation and production plans using model based working methods. 4D simulation is part of the virtual construction course.
The course is adapted to national rules and regulation in Sweden. The courses are given in English.
Model Based Energy Design and Smart Decision Making Framework is integrated in the course Building Service Engineering (7,5 ECTS points). Energy analysis of several design alternatives are investigated and the most appropriate are selected using the Smart decision making framework.
